Our aim is to reduce climate-damaging greenhouse gases as far as possible. We already make a significant contribution to this with our choice of high-quality raw ingredients. Here, we focus on biodynamic and organic agriculture that, compared to conventional agriculture, not only produces fewer climate-damaging greenhouse gases, but in some cases even binds more CO2 than is emitted.
Additional CO2 emissions result during further processing and manufacture, however. In association with Soil & More Impacts, we have determined the precise emission values for our products from the harvest to the store shelf – and have been neutralising these with emissions certificates since 2013. In future, our emissions will be offset right in front of our doors with organic agricultural projects. At present, all infant formulas, as well as milk, grain and muesli products, are already CO2e-certified and therefore climate-neutral.
